Type: random pug
Team: Bad
Numbers at the end: 4/8
Discription: When we started that run our team setup looked like this:
4x fire ele, 1 tank, 2monks, SS with BR.
In the great battlefield one of the eles took a fight with one of the monks. The assulted monk left. Then second monk left. Then our necro left. Then one of the nukers left.
So what does 4 of us do? push forward
We had so much firepower on our side, that mobs didn't have enough time to bring tank down to 1/2 health. So our cripple team cleaned starting area, beach, battlefield, both towers, wailing lord and we met our demise in burning forest. Mobs had more firepower then us
We didn't complete fow, but it was fun as hell killing everything so fast, that we didn't even need monks

fow
Ursan way
team: twas fecking terrible
We did everywhere except for the wailing lords quest, throughtout the whole run one monk had been calling the other a noob. So the victim monk left. Then 4 of the other ursans left, and left us with 1 monk and two ursans. With one of the hardest places in fow to do it. The other two resigned, and i told em i wasnt quitting afte an hour for nothing. We proceeded to own the forst, whilst on a -60, as the monk kept running out of energy. And we did it. Took us another hour though. Ill just resign if anything similar happens ever again.

Um...my moment that im really proud of was that mission with Glint where the bonus is to kill her.
The team was foreign, the english was bad and we were in HM. She kept killing us all, 2 people went afk cause they didint care cause we were failing, ursan didint work. I kep telling them not to attack when glint used a certain skill they just ignored me. Then i realised of a usefull combo on my war. dismember+agonizing chop=me disrupting that skill all the time and saving the team from wasting their time and failing . Ive had many moments that one being my favourite. None of them even thanked me though .

my moment was in that kuunavang's mission(really can't get mission name in my mind atm >_> - the one with luxon and kurz side).
Well, few guildies had that mission as last one for their Guardian of Cantha and they were strugling with it. So, in the end i decided to come and give them a hand with it. I was a monk and i usually like to bring pain inverter and technobable(or whatever it is) with me, so i brought it on that mission too. We went past that movie in mission and were in last room with kuunavang. AoE was too much so all but me and one hero survived and kuunavang was down to like 35% hp. Me and hero then started hitting him and at like 20% hero died too. It was just me vs HM Kuunavang, 1v1 battle lol. I was healing myself and hitting him with pain inverter. In the end, he was down to like 3% of his hp when i ran out of energy and died O_O
Another one was on the New Year day this year, me and few of my guildies went to do Kathadrax HM for the 1st time - noone really knew that mission and end boss still had that hp regen. As always i brought technobable and pin inverter with me and i was monk. We had some problems on our way, but we made it to the boss - we weren't prepared for those fireballs and expected boss to go down quite fast with our pain inverters - it was a failure - most of ppl got to 45%~ DP and then only me and one monk were alive. Ppl wanted to /resign, but i didn't want to. I went on to tank that boss(i had low hp because of DP and of course PS in my bar). While i was keeping PS on me and other monk healing me, i was spamming pain inverter and other monk slowly managed to rezz few more party members - all "real" tanks were standing there and laughing at me while tanking as monk, but in the end it was worth it - after like 20mins of spamming pain inverter and PS we killed that boss Chest drops were crap, but i had great feeling after what happened

While I was going through Proph. on monk my monk I got to The Dragon's Lair mission in the desert and formed a PUG. I don't quite remember what the team consisted of but I remember that I was the only monk and we had one warrior. Before entering the mission, we decided to do the bonus. Not too far into the 1st room, are warrior ran into a mob and died despite my efforts at healing. Since he was supposed to be a tank we asked him, "Why did you die so quickly? You're supposed to tank!"
He then replied, "What's a tank?"
I thought we we're screwed, for the rest of the mission and the bonus. We did ok without him although he would yell at me to rez him everytime he died which was Very often.
After the cutscene we proceeded to pick up the dragon egg and face glint.
The warrior died instantly and many times after that. Each time he would scream at me that I was a bad healer even though he was the only one in the group to every die because he as ingnorant and unprepared. After much time and many deaths (included myself), we were successful
I couldn't believe it, but we did it!

Warrior's aren't supposed to tank, they're supposed to kill shit and hold aggro occasionally.

I was monking in this pug and my party was getting thrashed at the part where you help the Norn. We just kept getting owned, it was a total lmao moment though. Everyone in the party was cracking up. We eventually beat it, then we get owned in the next part with that big guy who's name I don't remember. So I"m the only one standing, with 1 of our Golem helpers. We only have that boss left. So for about 10 minutes I"m healing this Golem while he Golem is killing the boss. We ended up winning because the boss never targeted me and only the Golem who I kept WoHing.
It was pretty epic.

During the Factions Preview Weekend I made a Ranger, and got her all the way up to The Eternal Grove. The pugs I grouped with all were Assassins...because everyone was an Assassin in the Preview. So with one Ranger, six Assassins and the Protection hero Redemptor Karl, we tried to tackle the mission.
Things started getting downhill right from the start, the squishy Assassins getting overrun by Luxon and their turtles. Me and Redemptor Karl were pretty much running around the map to ress all those sorry Assassins.
As soon as the Afflicted were started to gang up upon the trees, it really got terrible. Redemptor Karl got killed pretty quickly, along with 3 of the Assassins, with more Assassins getting killed every minute.
So there I was, a Ranger, who luckily brought a hard-ress. Only thing I have been doing during that last phase of the mission was ressing, and ressing and ressing, only to see that Assassin getting killed soon afterwards.
But somehow, we made it. I don't recall ever firing a shot in that mission, just running and ressing.
Even made a screenshot of our victory

Have to be guild Deep runs, back before hardmode. May not of been super hard, but the first few times we're challenging until we learned the tricks. Not to mention we were a pretty close guild, so thats always fun. Dragon Estos ftw

Eternal Grove. I was playing as a MM before SR was changed. Left side went down with plenty of mobs comming in. I held down the right side while my side went to go help. The guys on my side started dropping like flies till they were all dead. A warrior had quit thinking it was over.
My side was almost cleared so I left my minions to go help. I started making minions to hold agro while I rebirthed the entire team. I would make a few minions then rebirth and so on. Saved the team and we also got masters.
FYI was the warrior boss afflicted that was wiping the entire party.

Here's two, one of mine and one I saw.
The first was in Dragon's Lair, my first time through the game. My buddy and I got in a PuG to do the mission, and we cruised pretty easily. I can't even remember my build at the time, but I'm pretty sure I was rocking Penetrating Shot, Poison Arrow and Read the Wind plus my pet (because at the time, I didn't know that I could take Charm Animal off my bar and NOT have my pet disappear forever, lol). Anyway, we get to the end and say "Lets try and kill Glint". Somehow we managed to, and to the best of my knowledge, I didn't get hit once during the fight. It's also where I learned how to interrupt.
The second story was back Pre-Nightfall. I was getting a Droks run, and I decided to die so I could watch the runner do his thing. He managed to make the entire run using Rush as his main speed skill and without Balanced Stance. I'm still really not sure how he pulled it off...

Was in a guild group against QuCo in HA, we hated them, and they had some pretty clean spikes going. This was at the point where they were running two expert's dexterity rangers (aka not too long ago) and it was in underworld, but a high tension match pretty much. I'm not the leader of this team, and notice we're out in the open in front of the stairs. So i go everyone, what da hell. Get on top of the bridge now. They were running all over the place while we got on top of the bridge, they had the morale advantage from getting off a few spikes, and had no aoe, after getting on top of the bridge their spikes started failing and ours started coming through.
Won (:

The usual THK or Sorrows Furnace missions.
But a recent one was getting 100 points at Zos Shivres(sp?) challange mission to bump up the alliance faction cap lol.
Me a and 2 other guildies. Me and the other guilde were on our assassins and we tanked all the monsters, each of us had like +200 monsters on each other lol. Then the 2n guildie was going to kill the adepts. He kills 2 of them then dies :S. We where at 90 points then lol. So then we just had to hold out for another 10 mins or so to get 100 points lol. Got it in the end but took like 30 mins. Good fun lol.

I think mine was at Bloodstone Fen in the beggining of GW when missions were hard and you actually had to work throught the storyline with C grade weaps and imperfct mods with low level armor.... ahhh the olden days
Anyways, I think my group was an average group when suddenly we overaggroed and (at the last scene) we started dropping like flies. Me and one other guy managed to run away from the overambush and then most of us wanted to quit (i think 1 or 2 actually did). But before I was going to give up I convincd the group to give it one last shot. So I made a plan and went in and tanked for my guy while he rezzed the monk - I died, but monk rezzed everyone close to him and we actually won - though I was dead - but we beat the bosses =) yay

We were doing some HM dungeon (can't remember wich) and there was a boss around half way wich was listed that sometimes spawns twice... needless to say we got 2 bosses on our heads when 1 was already more than we could handle.
After alot of dieing we realized we'll be kicked out soon for -60dp... lucky us I took a whole bunch of canycanes and saved the day. Endchest was crap and my candy was prolly worth more than I got out of it but at least I completed my Legendary whatever...
